At Therapy with Sadaf, your privacy, safety, and well-being are very important. The following policies explain how sessions work and how your information is handled.

1. Confidentiality

All therapy sessions are private and confidential.

Your information will not be shared with anyone without your permission, except:

  • If there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else

  • If required by law

Clinical notes are kept securely for professional purposes only.

2. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged in full.

  • If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

3. Online (Teletherapy) Sessions

For online sessions:

  • You must ensure a stable internet connection.

  • Use a private and quiet space.

  • Secure platforms are used to protect your data.

Online therapy may not be suitable during an active crisis.

4. Payment Policy

  • Sessions must be paid in advance to confirm booking.

  • Payment confirms agreement with cancellation and practice policies.

  • Secure payment gateways are used.

5. Crisis Notice

Therapy with Sadaf is not an emergency service.

If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact:

  • Emergency services (15 in Pakistan), or

  • Your nearest hospital.

6. Initial Assessment & Consent

After booking, clients may be asked to complete an assessment form including:

  • Emergency contact details

  • Safety screening questions

  • Agreement to confidentiality and attendance policies

Submitting the form confirms your consent.
